Vegan Hawaiian BBQ Pizza

½ pack Violife Epic Mature Cheddar Flavor Block, grated

½ pack Violife Just Like Mozzarella Shreds

7 oz. fresh or tinned pineapple, sliced

1 portion vegan pizza dough

1 red onion, sliced

2 scallions, sliced

1 bunch fresh cilantro, chopped

3.5 oz. barbecue sauce

1 tsp. ground cumin

1 tsp. paprika


Preheat the oven to 392°F. Line a baking tray with baking paper. Make the sauce by mixing the barbecue sauce, cumin and paprika in a bowl. Set aside.

Place the pizza dough on the baking paper, forming it into the shape of your liking, leaving space for the crust. Using the back of a spoon, spread the pizza base with the barbecue sauce mixture (keep some aside for topping the pizza). Top the barbecue sauce with the grated Violife Epic Mature Cheddar, Just Like Mozzarella Shreds, pineapple slices and onion slices. Drizzle the rest of the barbecue sauce on top.

Bake in the oven for 15 to 20 minutes. When the crust is golden, remove from the oven, sprinkle with the scallions and cilantro, and serve. Serves 2.
